Standard Furniture Test

Our R&D team treats your drawings as the starting point, not the finish line. We prototype, stress-test, and refine every detail to ensure each piece performs at its best under real-world conditions. Because true quality is built, not assumed

Our Integrity to Give Our Takes on Technical Requirements

We build the initial prototype and test it for rigidity, stability, and real-world behavior

Here’s the truth most manufacturers won’t show you: the first prototype often reveals what the drawing cannot. A chair that looks correct on paper may lean backward under load

A cabinet that appears stable may shift on uneven flooring. We catch these flaws in our facility, not in your hotel lobby or retail showroom

From the learnings of that first prototype, we draw a second mockup. We send it to you and say: “This one will not lean. This one will hold.”

We repeat this process until the piece meets our standard and yours

This is not an add-on service. Design for Manufacturing is included in every partnership

Mechanical & Structural Integrity

Your furniture will face daily abuse in commercial environments. We test it accordingly:

  1. Load / Static Strength Test: Fixed weight applied to seats, shelves, and tabletops. Verifies load-bearing capacity without permanent deformation
  2. Stability Test: Front, rear, and side forces applied to chairs, cabinets, and beds. Confirms no tipping or collapse under pressure
  3. Drop Test: A weighted bag dropped onto the seat or surface to simulate impact from misuse. 30 kg on top, suspended and tested, still holding strong
  4. Leg Strength Test: Horizontal force applied to front and side legs. Tests structural integrity where it matters most
  5. Backrest Strength Test: Functional and proof forces applied to the backrest for one minute
  6. Fatigue / Durability (Cyclic) Test: Loading and unloading fixtures to simulate daily use
  7. Armrest Strength Test: Vertical and horizontal loads applied to armrests
  8. Drawer / Door Cycle Test: Repeated opening and closing to test hinges, slides, and hardware longevity

Stability & Resistance

Tall storage units, chairs, and beds must not become hazards and we verify stability

  1. Rear Stability Test: Disk loads simulate a person leaning back; the chair must not tip
  2. Front Stability Test: Load on the front edge ensures the piece does not tilt forward
  3. Anti-Tip / Wall Anchor Test: Critical for wardrobes, bookcases, and tall storage units
  4. Base Stability Check: Verifies even contact on a flat surface to eliminate wobbling

A beautiful finish means nothing if it cannot survive coffee spills, scratches, or humidity

  1. Abrasion Resistance Test: Repeated surface rubbing to simulate friction from daily use
  2. Scratch Resistance Test: Pointed tool applied across the surface to evaluate coating hardness
  3. Stain Resistance Test: Coffee, oil, and detergent applied to surfaces; checked for permanent marks
  4. Moisture / Humidity Resistance Test: Wood and composite panels exposed to moisture to assess swelling or warping

Fire Safety & Upholstery Performance

Commercial spaces demand fire-safe materials. We test every foam, fiber, and fabric batch

  1. Flammability / Cigarette Ignition Test: Simulates a lit cigarette placed on upholstery or foam.
  2. Match Flame Test: Resistance checked against a small open flame applied to fabric.
  3. Filling Material Flammability Test: Cushion fillings (foam, fiber, feather) tested for fire resistance

Upholstery must withstand tension, friction, and compression without failure

  1. Fabric Tensile Strength Test: Measures force required to tear the fabric.
  2. Seam Strength Test: Stitching durability tested under pulling stress
  3. Pilling Resistance Test: Detects surface pill formation from friction
  4. Foam Compression Test: Evaluates seat foam recovery after repeated compression
